Bicycle season is finally back
Bicycle Season
It is time to get your wrenches and lubricants out and start your pre-trip maintenance on your favorite bicycle. Winter was long and hard here in Eastern Canada. That's all in the past now. The weather is getting warmer and cyclists are ready to go.
It's nice to see the kids enjoying a ride in their Christmas presents, bicycles, scooters, roller blades and new skate boards. It doesn't matter what equipment they are using, as long as they get out and enjoy the outdoors and get a little exercise.
The new gifted bicycles were prepared for the road when Santa dropped them off. The only thing to do now is ride, ride, ride. If you are taking out the bike out of the garage, the shed, the barn or from under the old porch, use a little lubricant to get the moisture out. Remember to check the safety components like the brakes and tires before you head out.

Cyclists are sharing the road with a few more vehicles each year. Be cautious and couteous, it will get you to your destination and back without incidents. It's time to explain the rules of the road with your children.
Towns and citys are building more and more cyclist trails to promote health and exercise. Family outings can be an exploration and adventure. Pack a lunch and enjoy a bicycle adventure with your friends or family.
